Hi,

my question is very simple:

I access Internet through a proxy. I use IE6 with SUN's Java machine
1.4.2_04. When I first navigate to a URL, I get the pop-up of IE asking
for my proxy credentials. Later, if I get into a page thAt contains java
applets, I get the pop-up from SUN's java machine asking for the same
credentials. So, there are two authentications.

I want to know if there's a way to tell SUN's java machine to retrieve
the credentials from IE somehow, or from the systems
environment/registry once you've authenticated in the proxy with IE. I
want to avoid that second pop-up sent by SUN's java machine.

many thanks,

DAVID
