Hi,
I'm developing a java enterprise application: the db is Oracle and the
middle tier is to be developed using WebServices.

I'd like to focus on developing business logic in WebServices without coding
data access (connection, prepare stmt, execute, fetch, ...).

Anyone knows some SQL framework (I don't need persistence...) or DataBase
Access Layer available for download?

Thanks in advance
Domenico

Maybe Hibernate (www.hibernate.org) is an option. We use it and works very
well.

Try out Oracle TopLink - it will automatically generate beans from DB
tables and can also map existing beans to tables. It takes care of all
your DB interaction.

http://otn.oracle.com/products/ias/toplink
also integrated with JDeveloper

A seminar about it here:
