Your suggestion of the conditional return seems in line with what I was
looking for but I see from reading the various posts that I need to
learn more about Forth before I can complete my version. Too many
projects, too little time Wink

A conditional return? Trying to fix ARM's 16-bit/32-bit ARM Thumb(tm)
mode ARCHITECTURE, EH? Maybe, check out my VLIW SMP MPP 16-bit packed
insruction mode, originally for IBM Defense Systems in 1996, ( updated
to some years ago to include several types of CONDITION RETURN
instructions for managing X/Y/RETURN stacks thru a 'STATUS' stack.)

Bill Gates." ( who recruited me with money's no object for my
infromations systems design and architecture skills ( Keyfile -->
WIndow 95/98/ME desktops research, development and testing at AmeriData
Inc. AND, not coincidentally, my 1260/V2 type anti-virus research
