On my C: drive I've not enough space to install the SDK. The
installation wizard of the SDK allows to change the drive. On D: I've
enough space.
So I change the drive to D:
But the wizard gives me the message: not enough space on C: and stops
the installation.
Thanks for any idee.

Ah, yes, this old annoying chestnut!

The installer is using your temporary folder, which defaults to the C:
drive, to unpack the installer.
You could try changing your temporary folder - I believe the environment
variable TEMP is what you have to change. (Be careful you don't much it
up by deleting it or things could a bit wrong!)
How you do this depends on your version of windows. Google around a bit.

McDisclaimer: I am not responsible if you mong your machine up, what you
do is up to you.
Also, why not delete temp internet files etc. and glib yourself some
more disk space?

I thought the same initially. But then realised that if the installation wizard
was actually running (in order to allow the install directory to be changed)
then the exe must already unpacked...

Second thoughts ... the installer also tries to install the JRE as well as
the JDK. Perhaps there is enoght temp space to start the initial JDK installation
but not enough to unpack and install the JRE...
