Hi,

can anyone help me to understand what is going on with my Memory? I
have a Java process running, in server mode with -Xmx400m -Xss768k. It
has been running about 12 hours and currently has 396 LWP reported in
Solaris. It's on a Solaris UltraSparc running 64bit JVM.

The weird thing is that pmap reports the heap as:

0000000100114000 865512K rwx-- [ heap ]

more than double the set heap, and total size as:

total 1419976K

I understand that the total doesn't mean much, because of memory mapped
libraries, but I assume the 470 anon lines accounts for the stacks of
the threads.

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance for any help

James
