I'm having real problems executing serlvets/jsps using the internal
tomcat within netbeans.

I think the real problem I'm having is understanding the concept of
webmodule groups, webmodules and probably the structure.

Does anyone have a template/set of instructions to set me on my way?

I've tried the help and tutorials from the www.netbeans.org website
but they don't seem to explain exactly *why* I'm doing what I'm doing.
I've tried the helloweb app and whilst I got this to work, it did
seem a little odd to me that there were two source directories for the
project.

Can anyone help me? Please.

Have a poke around www.sun.com for Forte for Java (FFJ) (old name) or
Studio One (new name) (it's based on netbeans). Somewhere in the
documentation/tutorials there is (or at least was) a PDF called
something like Building Web Components. I used it a few years ago and it
was good. Sorry, I don't know the exact link.

GS.
