|
|
Hi, I'm upgrading an Iona Orbix 3.3.2 app to Orbix 6 using the Iona
migration guide and manuals.
I run the nameserver and register 3 objects with it.
I can lookup and obtain references to these objects from the same machine
and also from a remote client.
When I make a method call on the obtained object, the caller, a client (also
a server in one case), hangs with no exceptions thrown.
Do I need to run anything more than the nameserver? Is there an orbix 6
daemon I need to start? (bit of a novice at this).
Can anyone give me some tips on how to investigate the cause of this
problem?
Cheers, Richard.
P.S. apologies for posting this to comp.object.corba as well, I didn't know
this group existed until after I did it.
