Hi,
I am getting the following error when I execute the a particular query
that returns 34 records. However, each row has lots of columns. If I
reduce the number of rows or the number of columns the error goes away.

I do not get this error on Windows XP, even when I don't reduce the
number of rows/columns. (java version "1.5.0_09")
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_09-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_09-b01, mixed mode)

Only on Linux.(1.5.0_06-b05)
Linux <machine-name> 2.6.9-34.ELsmp #1 SMP

I researched a little. At least one page was said that this could be a
JVM bug.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
vk79

I don't know if any JNI code is involved.

I changed the JRE to 1.5.0_03 and it didn't crash.

I also tried JRE 1.5.0_07, and it didn't crash. (Am in the preliminary
stages of testing with this JRE).

Seems like a bug with 1.5.0_06.

Reading list of bugs that have been fixed in 1.5.0_07 [*], it's possible

you've run into bug 6346871 [**]. To verify this, you could start your
1.5.0_06 JVM with flag -XX:-EliminateLocks (as mentioned in the bug report).

Yes, that was it! I added the EliminateLocks JVM flag in wrapper.conf
and it works fine! I also did a little testing with 1.5.0_07 and that
one seems to work one.

Thanks,
Vicky
