Hello,
I did not thought I would have any problems with my javascript menu, when
some of the users advanced to IE 6.0.
Well, I know that generally some older browsers have problems showing
several things, but this is a newer edition of IE not an older - it is an
update.
It affects only some of the IE 6 users. Does anyone know of some special
settings for IE 6.0 which concernes javascript in one way or another, I find
this problem very strange and do not know what to do about it, if only this
was a syntax error or something like that, I simple find myself helpless in
a matter like this.
Hope anyone have some advice to me, perhaps some links about these kinds of
problems and how to work with them. How can I test this.
Thank you

hello again,
suddenly I found that secure settings 'Active scripting' disabled would not
show the menu - of course.
I still find my question relevant. How do others meet these problems. Can I
and if so - should I detect these setting from the user an give him/her a
msgbox reminding that my script can not be seen with these settings?
Does active scripting deactivating come as default in IE6.0 ? Does any of
you know of a list with default settings, so I can meet less skilled users
with help knowing about a potential source of that specific problem? I can
of course reinstall my browser so this last issue is not important.
Thank you again
