The JPDF is: * Able to preview and print Swing components (e.g. JTable, JTree, JTextPane, JTextArea, JEditorPane, and JPanel). * Able to generate reports containing data obtained from external sources (e.g. databases and files). * Designed to provide a printing capability with a minimum of custom coding required. * Highly extensible/customizable to meet application-specific printing requirements. In this release an ability to compose and print forms (e.g. an Invoice form) has been added to the existing reporting capability. Many minor improvements have been made to the print- rendering of Swing Components (particulary JTables, JTrees, and JPanels). This release has been tested and verified to work under JRE 6.
