Can I edit html pages so I can handle Mouse events like that:

------------------------------------------------------------
<td width="150" align="left" valign="middle">
<a href="javascript:controlField();" onMouseOver="swapImage('bottonsub',
'/images/botton_attiva_on.gif');" onMouseOut="swapImage('bottonsub',
'/images/botton_attiva.gif');">
<img name="bottonsub" src="/images/botton_attiva.gif" alt="" width="59"
height="16" border="0"></a></td>
---------------------------------------------------------------------

If so, How can I modify these lines for entering a "click" event
on "attiva" mouse area ?

Thanks a lot,
GB
